necessary for home studio June 14, 2006 Audio Maven (Another time and place) 32 out of 33 found this review helpful
This stand is very flexible in the way it can be set up. Allows you to get close to the mic and still play an instrument, like say a guitar. Can be used either sitting or standing. Recommend highly. Be sure to get a pop screen for your mic and recording needs to improve recording quality.
Great! Metal, professional. January 9, 2008 Christian Pursell 19 out of 19 found this review helpful
I honestly thought it'd be plastic for this price! It's nice, cold hard metal. It does what it's supposed to do. You can take off the boom and it becomes a regular mic stand. I highly recommend it!
Perfect for Home Studio July 14, 2007 B. Pence 16 out of 16 found this review helpful
Very versatile. I can easily adjust the angle of inclination to adjust for guitar and then vocals. The legs fold up vertically and the stand collapses on itself to be half the size for portability. Like most mic stands, this stand comes with a clip-on cord holder to keep the mic cord suspended along the horizontal arm.
One con is sometimes the heavy Samson CO1U USB Condenser Mic I use to record audio would sometimes tip it; however, if you use a little common sense when you plant the tripod legs to get the most support, this won't happen.
Overall, for the price, this mic stand was much better than I anticipated.
FAMOUS GERMAN MAKE-COPY!!! November 29, 2007 Felix The CAT (ohio) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
Yeah, What can you say 'bout a mic stand??
Well, this one works well!! Boom stays tight (where you put it), black anodized finish, tripod no-tip design. Copied from a famous german maker-but costs WAY-WAY LESS!!
Recommended!!!
GREAT BUY! November 25, 2008 J. Broussard (Louisiana) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
This is a great buy for 25 dollars. I use it for Jam Night when the drummer wants to sing and it works perfectly. Look at your local music store and the same or a similar product will be twice to three times as expensive! Also folds up really small for easy storage/transport!
